6 Months contract Administrator

About the role:

Job Purpose

To administer and record all Safe Control of Operations and Safety Technical Competency certificates, records and appropriate activities are issued and maintained in accordance with company and National Grid procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Keep a log of all Permits to Work,
Liaise closely with Control keeping documents up to date 
Maintain records to show all "live" Permits to Work,
Keep a log of the 10% audit requirements regarding Permits to Works for Deep Excavations.
Produce reports to demonstrate compliance. 
Produce renewals of and maintain records as required.
Liaise and follow up with line managers to ensure certificates are returned in a timely manner.
Carry out any other duties appropriate for this post.

Technical Specification (Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications)

General Experience: 
Understand of requirements 
Good understanding of utility contracting 
Knowledge of technical training competencies required
Good communication skills 
Attention to detail required
Well organised and able to prioritise
Intermediate Level: Word and Excel
