Design administrator

Job Responsibilities:

  • Uploading/downloading documents to and from Customers Portal
  • Issuing production sheets
  • Preparation of drawings for approval construction.
  • Producing standard and component drawings.
  • Preparing drawings for approval/construction.
  • Producing standard component drawings.
  • Uploading/downloading drawings.
  • Registers RFI for each project logging onto drawings.
  • CDM Management.

Experience and Skills Required:

The successful candidate will have worked on multiple projects at once, and will be able to work unsupervised after project briefings.

  • Ability to visualise 2D objects in 3D.
  • General understanding of mechanical systems/engineering based products and components.
  • Accuracy and efficiency, and the ability to work on a number of projects at one time.
  • Previous experience with drawings essential.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
Minimum City and Guilds AutoCAD 2D (3D experience a bonus), G.C.S.E level Maths and English essential

Tools and Equipment Used:

AutoCAD 2019 and AutoCAD LT, File Maker, Microsoft Office 365, Navision
