About the role:
Reporting to the Group HR Director, your responsibility will be to support the people strategy and plans by: -
Providing proactive, professional direction and support to internal customers across the Group
Acting as a commercially aware, focused, business minded HR partner
Delivering a value-added HR service to the business
Applying best practice HR solutions that meet the business needs
To act as a role model for HR professionals leading the evolution of the team to true strategic partnering rather than generalist advisory.
What the role involves:
Providing valuable input and expertise to client groups on the implementation of the people strategy and on operational activities.
Build strategic partnerships and relationships across all business areas to implement people initiatives across employee engagement, organisational design, change management, talent and succession, and learning and development.
Builds a strong business relationship with the internal customers across the Group
Facilitate delivery of an on-going performance management review, reinforcing the importance of continuous and honest feedback.
Report on key performance measures across the groups, analyse data and provide insight and recommendations.
Providing valuable input and expertise to your groups in terms of complex employment relations, policies and practices, engagement.
Ensure consistency of application of our HR policies and procedures.
Delivering and manages complex business-critical HR related projects cross-functionally.
Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes across the Group
Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
Participate in recruiting key talent across the Group
Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employees
Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
Designs and maintain organisation people plans to improve performance across the Group
Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions
Challenges the organisational structure of the internal client and proposes changes
Develops HR team members as they can become HR Business Partners
Compliance (GDPR Gender Pay Reporting etc)
Essential Qualifications & Experience Required:
BA or MA in HR Management.
CIPD qualified graduate (or equivalent experience), currently holding the position of a HR Business Partner
The ability to understand business strategy/aims/goals and be able to recommend approaches that support the strategy, challenging the status quo when necessary.
Strong influencing project Management and change management skills and with the gravitas to command professional respect at all levels.
Adept at handling challenging situations to gain positive and constructive outcomes.
A true commercial and pragmatic hands-on approach, fully immersed within groups e.g. 'has their finger on the pulse'.
The passion to drive through the people strategy.
Confident, calm and credible with excellent communication and building relationship skills.
Able to connect and engage with people at all levels both internally and externally.
Strong Time Management and Priorities Management Skills
Strong analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
Strong UK Employment Law Knowledge
