Head of Retail

About the Role:
Direct accountability for the UK retail team
Deliver on-going new retail launches
Own and develop the retail trade plan in conjunction with the CEO & CFO
Deliver on commercial growth targets (sales, profit and margin) through on-going the development of commercial trade partnerships
Establish strong relationships with key retail accounts
Monitor trade and competitor product ranges
Manage and develop trade, promotions and marketing campaigns to deliver the business objectives
Oversee instore product range launches along with delivery of new merchandising
Oversee instore stock replenishment on store by store basis (working with our external fulfilment partner)
Drive actions based on data led insights
Deliver trade performance reporting
Deliver a great brand proposition for our partners
Work with internal stakeholders to deliver a "best in class" service level for our partners and customers

About You:
Experienced at negotiating with business leaders / retailers at a senior level
Project management experience
Proven delivery of commercial targets and an understanding of management
Strong analytical skills
Outstanding communicator and team player
Senior management, team leadership skills and recruitment experience
Experience of managing stock delivery into and returns from retailers
Experience of setting up and managing outsourced/ in house instore merchandising team(s)
Desirable but not essential - Understanding of gift card technology
