Internal Account Executive

About the role:

Being a point of contact for the named accounts.

Working with key contacts at the named accounts to:

  • Keep informed of new promotions/ products/ other marketing
  • Uncovering and nurturing prospect opportunities for future date delivery
  • Supporting with immediate sales or operational needs (iBids/ reports etc.)

Sales Support:

Providing quotes, iBids and product information to all customers (including datasheets, set up details, certificates etc.)

Follow up on iBids and sales leads

Owning iBid approvals

Managing SolutionsPlus logins

Working with Sales to help maintain discipline in Salesforce tools e.g.

  • Opportunity statuses/ Decision dates/ Project dates etc.
  • Account mergers/ updates

Providing customer profile reports where necessary

Providing ad hoc report or support to account managers where required

Build up a good level of technical / product knowledge to be able to answer questions about products and solutions to customers.

Candidate Profile:

Good communication and presentation skills

Knowledge / Understanding of a distribution

Flexible and adaptable with excellent attention to detail

Customer Service experience

Customer-focused
