About the role:
You will sit within the Buying team, reporting into the Buying Director and will be responsible to manage and develop the operational processes within our growing Buying team. You will be responsible to streamline existing processes that will enable enhanced coordination in managing the various data sources that is in use to manage and measure team performance.
The Buying team comprises of a team who identifies and secures new partners across the leisure industry in the UK whilst the Partner Management team manages the Partner relations and collaborate with the Partners to enhance business services and new product development opportunities to enhance the growth of business.
Key Responsibilities include:
Be key member of the Buying Management Team to bring data driven insight into decisions and planning by supporting the Buying Director, Head of Sales and Head of Partner Management to improvise the existing reports to meet the needs of the wider business and to help use data to forecast resourcing requirements and identify opportunities.
Take responsibility for delivering all reporting across the team, specifically:
Group Sales aggregation
Ad hoc reporting of partner performance
Ad hoc reporting to identify product opportunities
Help deliver the Partner Engagement, ensure engagement targets are being assigned and reported on correctly.
Ensure that our processes around H+S are in line with all obligations and best practice.
Role out the Partner CRM strategy with support from the Administrator
Proactively drive system (Salesforce) enhancements, working with external partners to specify and deliver mini projects
This position will also be responsible in managing an Administrator
Essential Competencies/ skills:
This role will best suit an individual who is comfortable around data and data analysis but also has a highly commercial mindset and work on solutions that are data driven.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
Advanced knowledge of Excel (Power Pivot Tables, Data arrays, etc). Knowledge of Access , or VBA will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of Salesforce (report building, dashboard building)
PowerBI knowledge will be an advantage
An awareness of and interest in current trends in leisure activities especially Restaurants, Spas, Hotels and Attractions
High attention to detail with an ability to demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
A forward thinking natural planner, anticipating and escalating issues before they arise, providing solutions and meeting deadlines.
Aware of wider market trends and able to use this to help proactively identify wider market trends to feed into the product design process.
Quick learner with ability to think pro-actively and build solid working relationships with wider members of the business.
