About this role:
Duties will include dealing with customer quotes, processing orders, organising deliveries, entering information on the company database, raising invoices, credit notes etc. Lots of telephone liaison and the chance to learn all aspects of the business ranging from accounts, sales & marketing. You will also help organise and take part in trade shows and exhibitions throughout the year (3 or 4) and really get the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the business. They have excellent promotion prospects and long term career opportunities for successful candidates.
Candidate should have good keyboard skills
Working knowledge of MS Word & Excel
Knowledge of Pegasus Opera (Accounting software) an advantage but training will be given
Experience of working within a sales environment
Good telephone manner and well presented
Felxible & conscientious working attitude required
Quick to learn, easy going with good sense of humour
Ability to work on own initiative
Office hours: 9am – 5.30pm 1 hour lunch Monday to Friday
Some flexibilty required due to demands of workload. Some weekend work may be required from time to time when we exhibit at trade fairs.
Bonus is generally paid annualy although this is not guaranteed and largely depends on the performance of the Company and the indivual concerned.
Holiday – 20 days per year (3 days to be taken around Christmas as the Company closes from Christmas Eve until New Year)
