Sales Support Executive contract

About the role:

Support the Regional Sales Manager and their team to efficiently grow the volume and range of their accounts while maintaining and promoting the reputation and service standards of the company.

Prepare and submit quotations and proposals for customers ensuring accuracy, timely delivery and communication to all relevant parties.

Assist the order processing team with the clarification of and queries relating to customer purchase orders and maintain required communication for customers and relevant parties.

Identify opportunities to increase sales and services provided to the customer in order to maximise customer satisfaction, market share and account profitability.

Maintain customer communication when required due to busy periods or resource shortages.

Proactively provide customers and sales teams the required communication for any outstanding issues or transactions.

Visit customers and attend sales team meetings when required.

Assist in the resolution of overdue payments when required.

Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to internal and external customers concerning quotations, pricing, lead times and delivery status.

Assist with communication relating to customer complaints, adverse incidents and field safety corrective actions ensuring that correct procedure is followed along with clear, timely and accurate communication to all relevant parties.

Manage customer transactions through the business, utilising internal systems to provide accurate and adequate job instructions to all departments, agreeing schedules and monitoring progress.

Participate in sales and operational meetings as required, providing appropriate information and feedback.

Identifying and report situations that require escalation.

Provide support to other Sales regions and disciplines when required.

Gather and provide information for processing and monitoring of customer SLA's, inter-departmental SLA's and for departmental and individual KPI's as required.

Qualifications and required experience:

The incumbent must be educated to a good standard, ideally to degree level or 3 A’Levels and relevant experience but a minimum requirement of 5 GCSE or equivalent (grade C or above) including English and Maths.

At least 3 years’ proven experience in a similar role.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Experience with SAP is preferred but not essential.
